The Cascade Warbirds Squadron has established a relationship with a Seattle area hotel that is offering members both preferential rates and preferential service. Whenever you're in the greater Seattle area, whether for one of our meetings at the Museum of Flight or for any other reason, give The Best Western River's Edge Hotel a call for your night's stay. The rate is only $89 (plus tax, of course) for one adult or two.  Be sure to mention that you're with Cascade Warbirds.  If you have any difficulty making the reservation, ask for Director of Sales Scott Caddy.  Scott has promised to look after our needs.  If you still are having difficulty, get in touch with the squadron Finance Officer at fred@fcsmyth.com.

Traveling between the Museum and the hotel is easy too.  This Best Western is located just 4.6 miles from the Museum (no freeway driving is necessary - from the Museum go south on East Marginal Way South to Interurban Avenue South and thence onto West Valley Highway).  Get a map here from Mapquest.   The hotel even offers shuttle service, not only to nearby Southcenter Mall but, for us, to and from the Museum of Flight.
