The CO called the meeting to order at 1010 hours. There were approximately 26 members and guests in attendance.

The following occurred:

Guests were introduced and distinguished members were welcomed, to include Rock Snodgrass, who will be our speaker later this morning.

Tony mentioned the passing of Lee Embree, another member of the Greatest Generation

Fred (1) reminded members to pay 2008 dues, (2) offered F4F VHS tapes in exchange for donations, and (3) encouraged members to update their wardrobes with squadron regalia.

We received an update on the B-17 Tour Stop and another call for volunteers was put out.

Pete and Greg provided an update on our attendance at AWO this season.

The following events were announced: (1) Oshkosh is 28 Jul - 3 Aug; there is still room in the squadron house, (2) NWCAS is this weekend, (3) CWB will be 24 May at MoF, (4) GA Day at PAE is 17 May, and (5) the Sept. Open House at HFM will be 5-6 September and will focus on 1968 and 1918

Ed Rombauer's "Safety Minute" was offered by Greg - he encouraged us to be careful in our Spring flying as we worked out the winter rust. Concentrate on the basics and challenge yourself to regain proficiency.

Our "Know Your Warbird" feature was presented by Rock Snodgrass, an A-6 Intruder Naval Aviator. We appreciated his time and thanked him for his service.

The following two comments were added: (1) Robin Hill mentioned that the Cystic Fibrosis Walkathon fund raiser will be held 18 May, and (2) the BFI Roundtable will meet 11 Feb at 11:00 AM; the major topic will be landing and parking fees at BFI.

The Board will meet after lunch; all are invited.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1145 hours.
